Subhadeep joined Omnivore in 2011 and runs our Delhi office. In addition to his investment responsibilities, he manages Omnivore’s technical assistance facility, supporting capacity building initiatives across our portfolio. Subhadeep was Omnivore’s first non-founder hire, having been recruited while still in business school. He is Omnivore’s primary liaison with the Government of India and its network of agricultural research institutes, as well as a member of the FICCI Taskforce on Agri Startups. Subhadeep is also Omnivore’s representative with multiple startup accelerators including IIT Kharagpur’s STEP, IIT Kanpur’s SIIC, and ICAR NAARM’s a-IDEA. Subhadeep earned a B.Sc. in Agricultural Science from Haryana Agricultural University and an MBA in Agribusiness Management from IIM Ahmedabad.
