“What will agriculture look like in 2030?”, we asked ourselves. We wanted to think beyond 2020, beyond COVID-19, beyond our second fund, one decade into the future. What emerged was Omnivore’s Vision 2030.
The insights we reached are consequential and sometimes counterintuitive. We see tremendous opportunities and terrible risks ahead. What we don’t predict is incremental change – this will be a decade of agricultural and rural transformation led by agritech entrepreneurs.
We hope that this report will spur debate and action. We know that together, we can reinvent Indian agriculture and food systems, radically improving profitability, resilience, nutrition, and sustainability.
We can build a better world. Our survival depends on it.
