Nagarajan (Naga) joined Omnivore in 2018 and is based out of our Bengaluru office. He also serves as a Senior Advisor to the Tata Trusts and an Independent Director of Gromax Agri Equipment Limited. Previously, Naga was the Managing Director of Mother Dairy, one of India’s largest dairy and food processing companies. From 2010 to 2017, he led the turnaround of Mother Dairy, growing revenues from INR 2900 crore to INR 7900 crore while restructuring the product portfolio and improving profitability. Prior to joining Mother Dairy, Naga was with Philips India, serving in a variety of roles, including Head of Human Resources, Head of Consumer & Lifestyle Business, and Head of Consumer Electronics. Earlier in his career, he worked for various FMCG food companies in sales and marketing, including Joyco, Frito-Lay (PepsiCo), and Cadbury. Naga began his career with Nestle India as a Management Trainee in their Moga factory. He earned a B.Sc. in Dairy Technology from the SMC College of Dairy Science and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.
