Shilpa Divekar Nirula joined Omnivore in 2022 and is based out of our Mumbai office. Previously, she was the Head of Asia-Pacific Business Strategy at Bayer Crop Science, where she also co-led the Global Smallholder Strategy. From 2014 to 2018, Shilpa was the Chief Executive Officer of Monsanto India and Managing Director of their publicly listed entity in India, having previously led the company’s corn seed business. Earlier, she was the Head of Strategy & Business Development at Bunge India. Shilpa started her career with Arthur Andersen and KPMG, serving clients across diverse industry sectors. She is a Chartered Accountant, as well as a Cost & Works Accountant, with a B.Com from Narsee Monjee College and an MBA from S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research.
